The TS 200 is a handmade, professionally styled oboe. All keywork is nickel/silver and bronze with a silver plate, mounted exclusively on silver steel rods. The use of silver steel rods throughout the instrument, replacing the traditional use of pivot screws, combined with revolutionary polycarbonate adjusting screws eliminating troublesome cork bumpers effectively keeps the instrument in perfect adjustment longer.

D Series

The TS 200 D Series instrument bodies are turned from a durable new material called ‘Grenadon’. Grenadon behaves acoustically like wood and yet is completely stable to both moisture and temperature. The stability of Grenadon together with the extreme precision of manufacture has enabled the use of dual ‘O’ rings rather than cork for assembly of the body joints. This allows greater transmission of vibration throughout the instrument giving a bright tone as well as being physically easier to assemble.

W Series

The TS 200 W Series instrument bodies are turned from traditional Grenadilla wood seasoned in Australia for maximum stability and to suit the harshest climates. The bodies are not stained, but enjoy their natural black/brown lustre.
